Has anyone tried this?|
Is it effective, or is it snake oil?

don't goof around...
talk to your doctor.
Amazon's got a raft of these sort of products; and every one I followed to their manufacturer's website - where I found the magic words
"These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.
which means, no actual clinical trials, no real research, and oodles of unsubstantiated anecdotal evidence.
Save your money.

We tried it to no effect. Lots of money down the drain.
I have found that it does help me when I have accidental ingestion of gluten. I get severe malnutrition issues when injesting and this has seemed to help make sure my normal medications get past the barrier my body puts up due to Celiac. It is not meant to allow you to eat Wheat/Gluten, it is to help in cases where you can't always prevent against.
I have tried a lot of snake oil type substances in my 9 years since being diagnosed as Celiac, and this I have found does help.
